Hey guys, I'm putting the clutch pedal in my Maverick and I'm having a problem installing the clutch assist spring. Does anybody have any suggestions or tricks to getting it in there? That sucker is one string little spring. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, I was able to get it in there using a similar method to what you did.

If by chance you're running a diaphram clutch you may want to leave it out.

I used 'fresh' nylon ties...but you really don't want to do it like I did! I was just waiting for that stupid thing to pop and smack me in the knuckle or worse yet the face! It would be a crime since I am so beautiful after all!!!
