Cursed into possibly having to keep the inline 6 in my car forever.

Reason I say this is because every single damn time I have the idea to finally convert to a v8, something comes up that needs my immediate money attention, not to mention the money I have for said v8 transplant.

Am I the only one who has this problem? I swear, I think this is like my 5th time I had it ready and another sudden problem shows up.

I just need time with motivation. The money has already been spent.

I Bought a 94 caravan in september which blew head gasket. So when I drove down to Freeman south dak and found a 74 comet for 600 dollors which ran great till changed oil then it spun its bearing on way to sioux falls it had i6 250. Then I bought 95 ford windstar in may and hit deer in june but little ducttape and back on road than I just had to come over a hill and hit three cows. But was able to pull out a LED flash light and gimp back into town 3,900 dollors later couldnt get motor put in YET! But I will say one thing ford van took worse beating than chevy one deer last year that shattered front end

Maybe you should move into the city.

You should change your name to Howecowmav. :)

Did you at least get to keep them to fill the freezer?

We had a customer that came over a hill at 50mph and hit a horse with his dodge truck. Bad day right. Got worse when he figured out it was his horse. Totally destroyed the truck and of course the horse.

While I'm not doing the 6 to V8 conversion...I have been building my car for some time now. When I had the extra scratch, I would buy a part. Now I've got lots of parts and being unemployed at the moment, it feels like Christmas opening all this new stuff. I still need some stuff but with the time on my hands....all the parts I've bought is are getting installed....finally.
