It's run 5.44 and 5.43 in the 1/8th @ 128, 129. It may have a little left in it, as is, but not much. It is pump gas.
That is something to hear. I would pay $20 just to stand next to it when it was idling. lol I assume that whistling in not a belt right? lol Is that on front the engine radiator or an inter-cooler? I was just wondering why most was covered up? Very nice! clint
Thanks. The whistle is definately not a belt. What you see is the Radiator. (there is no Intercooler - I'm using a sort of experimental Water injection, which simply sprays a mist of distilled directly into the front of the Blower - one nozzle sprays at 7psi, and a second starts spraying at 15psi) The way I had to mount it, the only thing exposed to airflow is the bottom!! Therefore, the 'cover' is actually a shroud, which seals the front and forces all of the airflow from the fans down through it. The Gear-Drive for the ProCharger just doesn't leave much room for anything in front of the Crank - the Blower sticks out 14.5 inches from the surface of the Damper, and is about 13" in diameter. Not to mention the Alternator (Reverse Mounted), Vacuum Pump and Fuel Pump, which are all Gilmer style Belt Drive. I was a bit of a packaging/fabrication project, since almost every Bracket, pulley, etc had to be made.
Hood fits, but needed a little 'modification' for the Blow-Off Valve and 4" Tubing from the Blower to the Throttle Body - just like everything else. I've been told it sort of looks like the 'bones' are poking through the 'skin'.
Mav-Rich You are a man after my own heart - LEAVE NOTHING STOCK Wonderful car - we just need more pictures of under, above, in and out
No problem...I intend to take some better ones the next time I run into you...and get some better vid than I got at the BBF bash. You going to Bowling Green at the end of Sept for the NMRA finals? I'm planning on going...and then to Hardinsburg for the Bracket Nationals...
