    Under the word BODY on the door jamb data tag.

    It will come up as a 2-door Comet. No code for a GT.

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    There are lots of clues but nothing definitive. Probably largest clue is missing chrome drip rails, though GT ordered with vinyl roof will have them. I believe they were all floor shift with bucket seats.

    I have told floor shift was an option...buckets were standard.
