What? there is only a few "tar balls" on our beach, water is wet!! and cooler than the air so thats good, fishing is going great also. we didn't get much in the way of the oil here so I am still employed lol and having a great time at it (it's nice to work at a job you enjoy) come on down, the resort I work at has rooms at a good price right now or just wait till November 8th thru the 14th for the Emerald Coast Cruiz-In it has streetrods, musclecars, calssics and a swap meet... http://www.emeraldcoastcruizin.com/
Great bunch of folks there also, had a blast last year.
Little story on last year the guys were doing burnouts in front of the resort right on front beach road for over an hour and then a cop came up and sat till the next guy was going to do a burnout, the cop saw him stop to get ready to do it and he flashed his blues in front of the guy as if to say DON"T, well the guy totally ignored the cop and proceeded to smoke the tires right past him!! of course the cop pulled him over and issued a $400.00 ticket! (illeagal display and exibition, wreckless driving and a few more) but the crowd of Gearheads that were watching took up a collection and raised the money to pay the ticket!! (rather easy as there were prolly 400 plus watching) what a great crowd! there was a 65 Mustang that did a burnout and left two lines of rubber for over 300 feet! I was just getting off work and saw that one. My grabber was not running last year but I hope to have it at least drivable this year so I can get out there in it.

This is sooo true. Every year at the MCCI Roundup Nationals, it is more than a car show....it is like a family reunion. The cars get to reunite with each other....while the owner's reunite with each other as well. :yahoo:

Over this past weekend, I met Diddie and Tenebros from this board, as well as others, at the MCCI Indiana Mini-Meet.

It was real nice visiting with another mavericker. Roger and i had a nice time talking mavericks. I could have stayed longer but had a couple of hungry women giving me the evil eye. I plan on and am looking forward to visiting again.
