Yea, I was thinking about going to Florida to cool off but no!:) After working in a hot factory for 30 years, I would soak a hand towel with cold water, ring it out then put it around my neck. Suck on crushed ice all day. Slow down, Use a fan. If you can, put a fan out by your car it will help alot. Stay out of the sun. Limit the work you do. Something is better than nothing. A little salt is good. Work early in the morning or late in the evening if you can. Sometimes its better and healthier to leave it alone for now. Before long I will be getting the rake and the shovel out of the garage. Our tree in the back yard is just showing a touch of yellow in the leaves and I see some on the ground when I cut the grass! I hope its a warm Winter.

I've taken a little break from working on mine because of the heat. I can go outside for just a few minutes and my shirt is sweaty...this sucks. Give me some 75 degree days!

I hear ya man. Here in Cape Carteret, all you have to do is go outside and stand still, and within two minutes, you will have sweat running down your arms and back. I'm usually one of those tuff it out sort of guys, but man..........

Today was the 17th day in a row over 100 degrees in Dallas. Too hot to do much more than roll the Comet's windows down in the morning and back up in the evening. I hate August.

I have resorted to working on mine in the last hour or so of daylight in the evenings. Even then, the humidity will soak you. Oh well, it will cool off sooner or later.:tiphat:
