The shock towers and front suspension is the only thing I really hate.

I have no complaints except it is too narrow between the shock towers to fit a 429/460 without major mods

I love everything about the cars. From my 250 I6 5 speed to my 302 auto 4 door. The #1 thing is the stories you hear from others when they walk up to your car and you can see in their eyes them re-living some good times when they had theirs. I still cant get over how many stories you hear about the "Factory 302 4 BBL 4 Speed" that some of them had. LOL

The only thing I hate about them is.......................................
NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way I look at is if I don't like something about the car, I just change it. And they are so so so so easy to modify. If you don't like where something is, move it. If you don't have enough room for something, make room. If I did have to pick something it would be the front suspension.

    That damn intake log...

I agree with most of the likes/dislikes you guys have mentioned... trying to add my 2 bits here...

    I luv...

    - people 1/2 my age who love the styling but don't know what it is even though they built 2Million and back in the day they were EVERYWHERE - so NOW it is recognized for simple, clean, handsome styling from every angle and with slightly bigger wheels it's a beautifully proportioned car.
    - my I-6 is simple, cheap, reliable, peppy, good mileage, gets lots of attention, easy to work on.
    - my V-8 will be noisy, unique, stand out from the crowd, and hopefully fast.
    - everyone thinks I have thou$and$ into a collector car - when I really just have a few bottles of wax, polish and spray paint into a daily driver.

    I don't luv...

    - cast iron intake logs; carb gets boiling hot - don't like walking away from the car after a drive and smelling gas.
    - that 1" gap between a V-8 and the shock towers.
    - leaving my car ANYWHERE to get work done; can't find a mechanic older than me who can work on it without breaking/scratching something.

There is nothing I hate about the Mavericks or Comets. I love everything about them though.
they are right up there with the 67-72 F100's in my heart.

Right now I hate that there is no aftermarket 70s gas tank. I like that they are not everywhere in the car scene, and everyone has a story.

    Love / Hate 'eh?

    Well,

    I love (about my comets):

The fact that they are easily found in a parking lot filled with Jelly Bean "Me Too" designed cars.

Room in the interior for more than 2 people and you don't have to use a can of lard to squeeze someone in the back seat.

Easy to work on / repair on the road. All you need is a leatherman tool, duck tape, and electrical tape to do most of the repairs to get you home.

Talking to / hearing stories from random people about the car.

They are "Tough" looking and Chicks dig 'em!:yahoo:

Most of the parts are easily found / replaced (with exceptions of course).

And I hate (about my comets):

    2 words - Rusty Cowls!

    Reparing Rusty Cowls.

Good luck finding a grill that hasn't had it's "nose" broken!

The alternator / wiring harness are junk and belong in a trash can.

Parking down town becomes an "Adventure in Babysitting" making sure no one hits / scratches / tries to steal the car.

While all these annoy me, what really gripes my grapenuts is when people come up and try to make me sell the car to them for next to nothing, even after I tell them it's not for sale, because (and I quote) "I like the car but it's not like it's worth anything. Now if it was a Mustang or a Camaro it would be a different story..."
