Getting closer

    After a couple of weeks of fitting the crank, filing rings, hanging pistons etc., I finally put the short block together so I can get back to driving this thing in the not too distant future. Still need cam, lifters, springs, retainers and oil pan to finish up. It's been 7 or 8 years since I last drove the car and I am really looking forward to getting it on the road.

    I'll be happy with anything over 600hp.

    Finally received the cam and it's in and degreed. Should be getting the heads back this week.

    Only need to get the headers coated and set the valves before I put it in the car. So it's done with the exception of a few bolt on odds and ends.
