Getting closer

    Tell me about it. It's been about 7 years since I last drove it. Had something else come up that kind of sidetracked the project for a while - you know what I'm talking about!!!

    New headers this go around. In spite of what one former 'expert' here said, I built a set of 1 7/8" headers for this one.

    I thought my ears were burning!!! Should I be embarrassed?

    Yep. Nothing special - Scat crank, Compstar rods and Diamond pistons.

    That was a long time ago. May have to relive what is a fond memory for some.

    Finally got it fired up a couple of weeks ago but still have some loose ends to clean up. Actually sounds better than I thought it would.


    Also glad that the car's stance didn't really change with the weight of the heavier block.

    I love the look you get when you elimintate the cowl vents - the paint color really makes the car too :bowdown:
