Was driving around tonight and was surprised that one of my lights went out. no wonder I always kept it away from the dark.

anyway, does anyone know if places like Autozone or Napa sell replacement bulbs? If they do, is there a specific part number for them or would any bulb work?

While I'm at it, my lights do sorta suck. It's not bad and I can see perfectly well in front of me when the high beams aren't on, but it feels like when I do have the high beams on, the lights look illuminate around the same level as my brother's 03 honda without it's high beams on. Could the glass just need some cleaning or were they this dim off factory? Any simple upgrades that can be done to make the regular beams brighter without the need of the high beam?

Wal Mart, sells sealed beam halogen bulbs, that will fit right in.

I like the "cool blue" halogens. Not really blue, but give off a nice white light.

Went to Walmart and picked up the halogens. Question though, will I have to take out the entire headlight assembly? Or can I just unscrew the plate in the front, loosen up the lamp and take out the bulb and replace and put everything back together?

Take the 3 screws out of the aluminum bezel around the headlight and remove the bezel. Take the 3 screws out of the stainless trim ring around the bulb and remove the trim ring. Some of these stainless trim rings can just be rotated and removed without taking the screws all the way out as they have slotted holes, others just have small holes and the screw has to come all the way out. Slide the bulb out, unplug it, then reverse sequence and you got it.

Go and read the tech artical on head light relays .

Your light will be so much brighter when you use relays.

    IT WORKS
