i have a t10 sideloader from a 65-66 mustang and hurst doesnt make the installation kit for the trans anymore they do make the shifter but not any of the linkage. i was wondering has anyone used the stock linkage with a hurst competition shifter??? i have found a stock shifter and linkage on ebay but i heard that the stock ( even if rebuilt) isnt good at all ( all im using my car for is a daily driver with mild performance) so im trying to find a hurst shifter.

You can buy the linkage from Summit and bend it to fit but have to make your own adapter plate. I did have the part numbers, I will look for them and let you know IF I find them.

thats what i was told on the mustang forum i joined for the trans i just dont know which installation kit will get the linkage to be the closest for the least about of fab work.

will the top loader kit for the 65-66 mustang be the closest? since the mounting place is the same on my side loader at the rear of the tail shaft?

so those two part numbers you gave ( thomas ) will be the closest to fitting a sideloader?
