I need a replacement clutch cable for a mustang steve setup... my car has been broke down at work for the last couple days, I tried a autozone fox mustang cable but when I hooked it up to the pedal the other end is about a 1-1/2" from the fork and I've tried several differant routings. I tried the search option on here and can't find any posts for other options... I'm desperate and need help... preferably something I can pickup locally... my car is my daily driver and now I'm stuck and don't know how I'm going to get to work... thank you.

I think its an '03 clutch cable that we used on my dads. It is extra long to help clear headers.

Did you get a oem one or adjustable? where did you find it? did you find it at a local shop or did you have to special order it? thank you.

This was purchased at a local auto parts store. Advanced Auto parts.

Found a cable... had to go to a ford dealer that handles FMS parts, cost me $50.12. for future referance the M-7553-E302 is the longer one and M-7553-C302 is the shorter fox body one. The longer cable does run really close to #5 and #6 so I put some heat shielding on it. there is a spot I would like to run it which is between #5 and just above the engine mount on that side but I could'nt get it through there, the opening is just a little to small, I guess I could unbolt the mount and jack up the engine on that side but if I need to change it later that would only make it worse... I wish I could of found some shorty headers back when I picked up my full length ones, would of saved me alot of head aches over the years... o'well.
