there are pics on the website. they are actually made for a 64-68 mustang with gt40p heads. which makes me hesitate because of the firewall clearance issues.

If you look at the crites maverick 351w headers they might work. The tubes go straight down.....So they might clear the plugs.

I just saw them. There shorties. And they list them as GT40 headers not P headers.

you seem to be a little of a smart ass there justin. i did search. why don't you search sanderson headers ff3 gts and see what you get. also i didn't think i had to spell their website out. theres a thing called google that if you type in sanderson headers it will find it for you. thanks maverick 75 for your responses they were appreciated and the tech guy from sanderson said that you have to specify the gt40p heads when ordering.

Actually theres truth to what Justin said. I can give you a list of 30 headers that are listed to fit out cars but dont. So it would be nice if the sales person gave you a money back warranty. The issue with P heads is that the spark plug exits straight out, most 302/351 headers sweep back in the primary tube design which hits the plugs on the P heads. Now when you swap a 351 into a maverick the exhaust ports face straight at the shock tower. So traditional headers wont work, to fix this issue crites designed their headers to go straight down. If you look at the ff3gts P headers they also go straight down, as opposed to sweep back like on tradition 45 degree plug headers.

Yeh im a little cranky today, sorry about that.

Just was a little upset i had to do a search and came out with nothing, i wanted to see a 351W mav with headers on that site and got a picture of a pair of headers:D

Looks like they will fit but im not willing to risk the money, good luck!(y)

More info: Crites is the only company that sells 351w maverick headers. They are known to fit, the only drawback is the price. Also the ff3gts are mustang header, usually headers designed for just mustangs end up having firewall fit issues when used on mavericks . Because the firewall in our cars are lower. And a big flaw in those headers are that the tubes are only 1 1/2, thats barely enough for a stock 302, let alone a 351.... The crite ones are 1 3/4. But at the end of the day your basically going to have to be the guinea pig, since your the first person that ive seen tried to swap a 351W with GT40P heads into one of these cars.
