My dad came across this Maverick a few days ago and passed the info on to me. We went and looked at it and I was surprised at what good of shape it was in. The only things missing are the two wiper arms, the steering wheel emblem, and the headliner. The two side lights are there, they are just in the trunk along with the hood ornament. Oh and also, there are two small holes in the hood where something used to be there. Anybody know what was supposed to be there? 1973 Ford Maverick, 250 6 cyl Like it is right now, what is it worth? You'll never guess what I gave for it either. Hi, everyone. I'm Jerry. Nice to meet you.
I can't see the holes in the photos but if they are up towards the front of the hood right above the radiator support - maybe it had hood pins at one time?
Excellent looking car for $900.oo. I gave $300.oo for my '75 when I bought it, but it did'nt look anywhere near as good as yours. I've got $8000.oo in it now, and it still looks like a $300.oo car. It did however, run awsome. Anyway, welcome to this place.
Thanks, everyone. I am indeed going to keep it the original 250 6 cyl. Gonna try to keep it all original.
