I joined the Army in 76, at that time there were many 4 dr Maverick Military Police cars, I think most of them were 250 I6 cars. I think somewhere around 78 they went to the Dodge Aspens. Looking back it was kinda funny. I just wish I knew then what I know now and I would have gotten a lot of parts through the military supply system. As far as "Top Secret" missions............................... I would kinda question that. :rofl2:But they did use them.

OK that explains the multi colors then. ITs camouflage. Gees we thought he just hadnt got around to painting it yet and all this time it was intentional.:)

    Here's a picture:

Unfortunately, its hard to even tell it's a Maverick, since part of the top secret mission required painting it with invisible paint:yup: I like how they mounted the missile launchers ... very innovative don't ya think?

Note the secondary air cleaner setup mounted in the interior to combat operations in harsh environments. Can't risk breaking down behind enemy lines (y)

Probably converted to silicone at some point and the decals are an attempt to keep someone from pouring in the wrong stuff.
