    Hello all, have looking at buying a Maverick and stumbled across your site. I have never owned a Maverick but have been through a few Fox body Mustangs an a few other classics. I have my eye on a 73 Mav right now that is kinda local to me.. Anyway thanx for the great site and all the great info..

    You are 100% correct!! I was Stationed at Ft. Bragg in the 60's and with the help of 2 brothers (their Family owned a Mercury Dealership and had 3 Ford SOHC in the crates and We Raced at any non-Nascar Track that We could find- they called Me "Bobby Scott" the Flying Scotsman and We had a blast) I watched many of Your Races and also followed Dick Landy, Don Prudhomme and "Dyno Don Nicholson plus some others. That was Racing!!! These Guys helped alot.
