Hood Alignment

I put on a grabber hood an can't seem to get one back corner up and even. I've messed with it for a couple of hours. I replaced all hood and radiator stops and it's better but still not right can anyone give me some tips?

 

did you try adjusting the 3 bolts on the fender apron that the hinge mounts to ... you can get to them from the inside of the fender

 

I never could get mine to sit level on one side either. With the hinge adjusted all the way up, it was still too low. I used a 1/8" shim between the hinge and the hood to level mine....

 

Yep tried adjusting the three bolts but still not quite level.

Shims is a great idea which I will try.

 

Oh how I wish I had Grabber hood problems. Maybe some day.

You need to move the hinges DOWN in order to get the hood to move up. I know it doesn't sound right...but it is.

 

X2 on what Craig said. Some things in life doesn’t make sense and this is one of them.

 

Thanks Craig I will give it a whirl. One side is great it's the other side that is giving me problems.
