that's super cool. Have you already set the timing curves on the software?

    Only semi on topic...

I believe the only significant wear a person would see on the thrust bearing by starting with the clutch in, would when using a high pressure, pressure plate.

A worn out thrust bearing, of course, leads to crank walk (forward/backward movement of crankshaft).

Hey Brian, I promise to get some more pictures up later this week. I've been slacking! LOL

    Hi Mo,
I've been working on the software, but at this point I'm not sure which of the many options this box has that I'm actually going to use yet. I almost have to have it running and do some testing to see if I need to tailor individual cylinders timing. But it's almost ready to fire up for the first time. I've got some time off in the next week and I'm hoping to get some of this stuff done. We've got this AZ Maverick meet in February where several of the guys have been pushing to see this thing move under it's own power. So now I have a deadline...tick, tick, tick...

OH and I completely forgot to thank you Brian for the pictures! Those got me thinking. My plan was to put the switch up near the pivot and completely forgot that I could put it on the floor just as easily. But now that I think of it, that may not work for me anyway since I don't know that I actually hit the floor every time between shifts. I'll have to think about that for a few. But once again I really appreciate the help!

Oh and I should tell you I installed my switch on the pedal itself and chose a microswitch with a pretty long arm which activates against the metal bracket that holds the pedal in place. I installed it using 3M double sided industrial adhesive tape, it's the red colored one. It's SUPER strong, definitely worth the time I saved drilling under my car.

Tony I never hit the floor any either that's why it's adjustable in it's height to fine tune it to your driving technique good luck and don't slack up on those pictures it's okay to wait till after your dead line but don't make me come to AZ and get them my self..............LOL:rofl2:
