very nice , I think my favorite paint scheme would be a sprint with a grabber hood and spoiler, picked over a grabber with sprint paint scheme because of the interior :)

Thanks, Ray, for posting the article. I had given up on it being published. I am looking forward to the one he will do your blue beauty and Dennis's Sprint. Dennis told me at the show that Jeff had interviewed him for an article back when Jeff was with another magazine. Perhaps he saved the info. More future publicity for the Maverick community. Thanks all for the positive comments.

I thought Jeff did an excellent job on the article. Lots of info on the history of the Sprint name. Thanks, Jeff.

Thanks, Brad, for selling me the Pinto Sprint. It only needed a refreshing, not a restoration, for the photo shoot.

MoneyMaker, come on down! We are all lovers of these old cars, no matter what condition they may be at the time. All of my cars, except the Pinto Sprint, were at one time restoration projects. Some still are.

Half the fun is taking lemons and turning it into lemonade!!

The real person responsible for this "kodak moment" is my friend Ken, aka mavgrab302. He pushed me to take the Stang even though it wasn't 100% finished. He also agreed to take the Pinto for me. He got the car onto the grounds, but got distracted by a young lady and her 2 yr old daughter and forgot we had a car show going on that day. When it came time to take the cars off site for the photo shoot, Ken was AOL, absent on lust, you might you might say, and my son had to drive the Pinto to the photo shoot. He later returned, lady in hand , and took the car home for me. LOL.

    Thanks, Ken.

Just my personal opinion, but since its only online and only available to magazine subscribers, kinda negates any bragging rights.

:dancingpa U, Guys did a GREAT JOB!!!!!

The only crit is that the 72 Pinto only came with a 7 or G rear axel.
    Neither if which were 3:10
They were 3:18 "W" trans. and 3:55 "5" trans. respectively.
