well i ordered my headers yesterday flowtech 12100 and they were reasonable cheap so it wont be a problem for me to beat a little here and cut a little there on them. hopefully i can get away with using shorty plugs, 90* boots, and an extra header flange for now but ill do what i have to and make them fit i guess.

well after putting the headers on and looking at it i said the hell with these p heads and went to the junkyard and got a set of great looking heads off an 89 mustang gt for 100$. they look really clean so hopefully they will work out good for now:)

I could see giving up on the P heads with a stock engine bay, but you have sooooo much room in there, and P heads are sooooooo much better than E7 heads... I would think you have plenty of room to make them work. ????

    What balancer are you running?
The stock on had the reluctors on it, correct?

well im going to keep the p heads around and maybe sometime down the road i can use them for the mav or another project. i just want to get the car going right now cause im nearing the end of my senior year of high school and i want the car drivable when i go to college so i dont have the time to try and build a set of headers or whatever to work with the p heads.

as far as the balancer its off an 87 5.0 because the funky explorer one with the reluctor things only had 3 bolts for the pulley and i needed 4 bolts to use my underdrive pulley set

Get the car togethor soon so you can come out to the Meet on Feb. 19th. Haven't seen you in the thread talking about it in the general forum.
