Saw some really cool Fords at big local car cruise yesterday. Only one lonely Mav(one I almost bought before the current owner). Check out the Granada with 600 inches of big block and Jimmy Varacalli's 600 in. Ford powered STUDESTER.

Nice rides. 600 in BBF Stude:cool: . A really clean Mav and you sure don't see many if any Granadas like that. Sweeet. I love cars that dare to deviate the mainstream.(y)

Yeh. That Mav is a '73 with only 19k on the clock. He told me he's a future member of the Club, but he's been putting it off. Both big blocks are courtesy of Evanuik Performance.

went to a local all-Ford show in Airway Heights yesterday and there was one Maverick & a Comet GT. both very nicely done daily drivers. didn't get to take any pictures though. was rushing as I left home to beat registration and left my camera and window marker (went racing right after awards at show) on my desk. was still too late to enter show. but my kid won 1st-timers bracket at the drags after taking third in under-21 class in the show so still a good day.

Glad to hear the Heights is still a going concern there.

Congratulations to your boy/girl on his or her first win! :)

MAN, that Stude makes my heart jump several beats!
Looks like something a 1940s superhero would drive.

    I'm green with envy. :D

That Stude is really awesome. :bananaman It's as well designed and done as any hotrod you see on TV or in magazines. In fact it's been in several magazines. This guy is famous for his creations(locally anyway). He also has a Henry J with a blown 351C and air suspension. Nice to see he likes Ford power.

    That's a 1974-77 Maverick not a 73. If you did not know the bumpers are bigger on a 74-77 than a 73.
