Well I took the Grabber out for it's first ride with the 289, couldn't go far because I don't have insurance or registration back on it yet, or a belly bar, so just a little up the road and back...I now realize I need to add one more thing...OH S--- Handles!
Wow what a ride!! BIGGGGGG difference in the power now! Very pleased with the change over from the I6.
Tranny shifts differently from the one I had before in it, holds first gear longer and has a kick into second but shifted out nicely.:burnout:

I love the feeling of stepping up to a good v8 from an I6 car. My first car was a slant 6 dodge dart and i ended up buying my mav 2 years after which came with the 302 the guy put in it...love at first drive!

Looks like a good time to set up a Mo Money HatCam!!!

Glad you are enjoying it! :thumbs2:

It doesn't take much to make these light little cars a blast to drive.

Well I got one pic of the engine before it was finished installing, there are some more in my project thread, early ones, maybe I need to update my project thread.
This one is just a mock up of the name design I will put on the back.
Maybe it seems strange to some folks..but I want to wait for paint and body until the engine and interior are finished to the point where I am happy with them...then paint and body last.
