I don't have any comparison video/sound from before. My exhaust was louder before but seems quieter with 3" exhaust and the xpipe. There are too many factors to make a true comparison because I also changed from the smaller headers to the slightly bigger hooker headers, I added the xpipe and switched to 3". I feel a LOT more power in the higher RPM and definitely less in the lower RPM. The car just accelerates well with this setup but I feel like up to 30mph it's pretty sluggish. I actually did a 0-60 with the old exhaust and it was 7 seconds. I will do another one with this setup and report back (I'll do it tonight on my way back home).

I would say I have less deep sound from the same mufflers with current setup at idle and flooring it the sound appears unchanged.

With the bigger exhaust, you may need to do some tuning to get that bottom end feel back.

Thats pretty much what I thought you might say. Except I thought you might hear more differance at high rpm.

Yea I already notice the rpm at idle dropped a little which bryant predicted. I needs some tuning for sure to get the low end back up. I also need leaner jets in the primary circuit and more in the secondary bowls.

I, being an old timer, love to have cut outs like yours. But I would think if you are purely after performance, they can cause back pressure, when closed.

they have a plug that fills the cavity of the cut out tube to minimize turblance.

I see that now. The build was well thought out. My hat's off to you.

So the 0-60 is about the same, 7 seconds. But I think it may not be that accurate. It feels like I have a LOT more power, when accelerating with the new exhaust. I'm loving it. The tranny needs a little work, after that I can get the nitrous hooked up and I'll be ready for the Arizona meet. If I can save some money I will get drag radials.

I am waiting on the blower to come back. The blower shop that I had look at it said it's not rebuildable. They wanted to sell me a 2500 unit. They said the housing is too beat up.

Should be able to buy new for $2500. Don't let them sell you a rebuilt for that price.

If the blower housing is unuseable I would be interested in having it take up some space in the man cave.

I might be able to make that happen. I only bought this kit because I needed all the bracketry etc. If I find another housing it's yours.
