69 side scoops need pics

    Anyone have pictures of the maverick with 1969 mustang scoops installed?.. I'm trying to decide if I should do it to my maverick.

    Are you wanting the sportsroof scoops, coupe "heat extractors" or the "shelby" scoops?

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    I think he's talking about the qtr panel scoops right below the qtr glass. I don't recall seeing a Maverick with them but I'm thinking the shape of the qtrs are going to be too different without doing some pretty good modifications to them. Would be interesting to see it though.

    I've compared a Mach 1 next to my green car, without some metal working, it's not cut a hole and put in.

    For the sports roof scoops, that's gonna take a lot of work. The quarters square off at the top, not taper in like the Maverick. The "shelby" convertable scoops would come a lot closer to fitting. I'll try to get some pics of the quarter scoops on my Mustang, and the quarter of my sportsroof shell.

    They ruined such a nice car with those scoops, i actually got to talk to the owner of that car once in a mexican forum. He said he was going to send me more pics, but he never did....
