Wondering if it is necessary to have the v-8 crossmember for longtube headers. And if so does anyone have one they want to get rid of? Thanks

Mine doesnt have the V8 member. NO issue with the exhaust. It was like that when I bought it. Headers fit fine. Just puts one pipe a bit lower than the other. My car sits fairly low and no clearance issues.

I should add if I was installing exhaust I would go with the double hump.

$10 plus shipping will do it Cory. I think that it could fit in one of the flat rate boxes that the USPS has, but I would have to check to be sure.

I've never understood that whole double hump thing (since there are no humps in it like a Fox body Mustang), but that could be because this is the only style that I've ever seen. Anyhow, here is a picture of it. It's off my 302 V8 car that I changed to one of 71Gold's tube style crossmembers.
