wow, thats awful close to the date of the MCCI meeting on July 20. To bad I cant make both. Decisions decisions.. Though I would like to take off two weeks work...LOL
Just made our reservations for the Gathering. Leaving Az. on Sunday the 10th. Arriving on Tuesday the 12th and staying til Sunday the 17th. Phone number for the Comfort Inn Suites is 1-606-679-3711. See you there. :bananaman
Cant wait!!! I think we're going to head out the weekend before to try and see some more of Kentucky (we've not been there before), we really cant wait, if anyone else is going out early let me know maybe we can hang out.
Like I said we're leaving on Sunday but it's 28 hours driving time and 1845 miles by Mapquest. So we won't be there too early, but we hope to be there on Tuesday barring any problems. Again we will be travelling with the 2 Grandaughters. This time we are not bringing the enclosed trailer. We are bringing the open trailer so hopefully we will make a little better time. I have to race the night before we leave, but I'm leaving the trailer and race car at the track, so I should be home earlier so we can leave early in the AM.
I'm still up in the air, I want to go but my budget isn't what it used to be..... I can either finish the car or go to the gathering, not sure I can do both...lol
I can't tell you what to do, but I can guarantee that if you go to the Gathering, when you get home you will be pumped up to finish the Mav. as soon as you get home.
anyone that wants to come into Ky early, if you want I can plan some fun family site-seeing adventures in and around Louisville. Lots of things to do in the "Ville".
