I am thinking out loud.. I wonder if anyone going would be able to throw in a head liner..I am pretty sure I have everything.. How about a vinyl top? I have all that also.. .. I am gonna try and have my car in primer at least and maybe spray the edges with matching canned paint. I desperatly want to cruise with the bunch
Come on, Ken. As long as the car is finished for the next Silver Springs show, you're good. Bring your lady and come on down! I plan on being there with one of the old cars even if it's not the Mav or Comet. It will be great fun. Kentucky is beautiful in the Summer, especially the Lake Cumberland area. Jim
I am sure it can be done in the parking lot. But my concern would be needing to have the glass out in order to do the job correctly.
OK, I'll make my reservations for the room.... I might have to drive my truck up, but I'll keep working on the Mav and see what happens..... Oh and Jim come over and get the lawn mower...lol...
The glass is out and has been out for too long. Now that you brought it up, maybe I could bring that also . What would be the best sealer to use besides the gaskett and where can I get it? It would be awsome to get it back together if at all possible.. Like I said, just thinking out loud. If some of you think you can help then I can consider my options.. I mean I need alot of help with other areas also. I live too far out for other members to come visit and lend a hand.
Frank, my C4 is already in the car I will see if I can get a tent IF I decide to bring the car. It's a LOOONG way on a trailer for ME. Others here are use to traveling like that. I may have to do an additional side trip to pick up a hood on the way so pros and cons to bring a trailer anyway. .. .. Maybe if we finish early enough I can convert the tent into a paint booth
