wire colors

    what wire can i use to hook up to a light that would come on when i turn on the running lights other then the radio one.

    Why not just splice off the same terminal that goes to the lights?

    i can access those from inside the car? and what wires are they?

    Brian,
    I don't have access to a diagram to tell you which wire it is but if all else fails you can find out which of the three wires running to the dimmer swich is always on with the lights (low and high beam) as it will come on with the light switch. Run a wire spliced into it to your "running light indicator".

    Seems like lite blue with red tracer is the dash illumination wire.

    Find the Brown wire coming off the light switch. This wirw goes to the marker lights. The wires at the dmimer switch only gets power when the headlights are on. http://www.1bad6t.com/Maverick/repair/73maverickwiring.pdf
