a Ford Maverick in grassroots motorsports?

    Yes there is in the February 2011 issue of Grass Roots Motorsports magazine. (the hardcore sports car mag as they call them selves) there is an artical about a group of guys taking an old maverick two door and running it in a yearly challenge. the $2010 challenge. Basically thats all you can spend on your car however much the year is so this year its $2011 challnege.

    They said after seeing all the imports honda civics and so on they wanted a a v8 rear wheel drive american car. They were going to use a fox body but someone had this in there back yard so the maverick it was.

    They were very competitve its a good artical. Just letting everyone know.
