how far is to far?

    how far would you drive for a maverick? me and my brother in law made a 14 hour round trip for a 1970 grabber.

    I don't need to look for another Maverick but I do enjoy taking road trips for parts :thumbs2:

    A couple hundred round trip miles is a nice ride :)

    i love my mav but i wouldnt travel over 500 miles. There just not that valuable to spend over 1,000 dollars in gas to get a 500 dollar car. Now if it was fully restored and cheap that might be a diffrent story. But a project i just couldnt do it cause i know eventually one close to me would pop up.

    road trip... i just went 2000 miles for 2 compressors
    memphis to Portsmouth va and back. in 2 days.

    14 hours round trip, wow you found one close :) I have done 14 hours one way more than once but I like to get off of the main highways and check out the back country. Must be the picker in me (y)

    For what rust free cars sell for in the South its well worth the drive from Canada to get a rust free car. Well rust free compared to up here.

    16 Hrs to pick up the Sprint I have...Thats round trip...

    If you want it, you'll go the distance...I did, 3600 miles round trip ....but...I think there is a Bridge too far!

    I would limit myself to 400 miles. Or just the southern california region. My only problem is room. I'm gonna be taking out my back garden to make room for another car.
