So since everyone on here has a bunch of these lying around why not try to create something neat with them? I'm sure you can all sacrifice one for a project :) So let's get this thread going! I'll post up what I made yesterday in bit.

My son uses them to test hammer durability. We, like everyone else, found they make cool Xmas tree ornaments. I also use them to provide additional desk clutter at work.

Well i'm one of the young guys on here that grew up after the Personal Computer was released. So I have a ton of old stuff that is kinda obsolete by now. Like those tiny 64mb usb drives. So I put one into a a Hot Wheels :) Really simple to do! It would have been cooler if I cut the front clip off to make a cap and hide the drive inside. But I dont have anything that can cut a thin 1/64th line. I'm happy with the outcome though, the best part is when I plug it in and the interior lights up :) [IMG]

Sorry, beyond buying them, and hanging one on the wall, that's all I'll ever play with them. I have big cars, to modify.

I only have one "Hot Wheels" car. Its still in the wrapper and it was a mis-packaged car. The package is for a military Jeep and the car is a Lagos.

Set up a track and use them for a drinking game.

    That is extremely cool!
If you were inclined to make another one of those I'd be interested in buying it.
I bet I'm not the only one too!
Do you think it would be possible to make the headlights light up rather than the interior?

I'll do a write up on how to make one. It's really easy, easier if you have a dremel(which i don`t) The LED is about the size of the headlights on these cars. So it's just a matter of making an extension.
