A really nice old guy responded to a want add I placed on craigslist. I was looking for a 69-72 Maverick parts car. It turned out to be a 73, and had spent the past 20 years in the woods on his farm. While a few of the parts are usable, I think I'll pass on this one.

Looks like a former drag car. Might be some good parts hidden under there. Maybe a good rear end. from what I can tell the front bumper might be good, its hard to find a nice 73 bumper since its a year of its own. I'd take a better look at it and see if you can grab it for a couple hundred bucks. would get most that back in scrap after getting anythng useful off it.

No Motor or trans, No interior, I couldn't get a good look at the rear end, it is pretty much buried, and there's no telling what sort of critters have set up housekeeping under there. The quarter panels are just about gone. The old man was relatively sure that the car started life as a v8 car. He also said it had never seen a race track, and that He and his son had put it together just to haul-ass around the countryside. I really don't need the car, so if anybody is interested send me a pm, and I'll put you in touch with the owner. He said he would like to get $350, but my guess is he would take less

v8 conversion stuff is almost worth what he wants for the car. plus all the glass looks usable. Even if the rear is just an 8" its worth atleast $100. Id go grab it for 2-250 if it was around here.
