Car bogs down

I have a problem with my Maverick bogging down and or cutting off when trying to take off at a stoplight or turning into a parking lot it all most seems like it is trying to vapor lock. Could it be the carb. float stiking or maybe just a real good tune up (been parked since 2006 [cranked evey once in a while but never driven]) Also when trying to accelerate it wants to bog down

 

sounds to me like too much fuel. I would say a carb tune up is in order. is this a V8 or I6?

 

Old fuel,rusty tank,accelerator pump issue or,
all of the above.

has fresh fuel new tank also noticed that if you take off in low 1 and shift to 2nd then to drive it doesn't do it as offten

 

Just wanted to thank every body for there help it turned out to be the accelerator pump again thanks for all the help
