Exactly! I've got four cars I'll be parting out soon. Three of them (71 Grabbers, yellow, red, purple) were flooded during Hurrican e Katrina. Prior to that I was putting the yellow and red ones in shows. The third is a yellow Stallion but too much rust for me to consider building. Sometimes ya just gotta let them go!
Anybody wanna buy a Stallion cheap before I start??? Runs...$700.

That is one heck of a sharp looking car.
Too bad about the other one. We can't always win the fight against rust.

The 598 is a crate engine i bought from Keith Craft in Arkansas. Usually he builds them with 15:1 compression but i asked him for 10:1 so i could drive the car on the street. Ford 4-bolt block, Scat crank, Lunati rods, JE pistons, .770 lift comp roller, C-460 heads with 2.45 intake/1.88 exhaust valves, 1250 dominator carb. The motor came with a dyno sheet that says peak HP is 935 @ 6,500rpm and 815ft/lbs @ 5,500. If those numbers are even close the Maverick should run very low 9's easily. We will see soon!
