Mine was a 1970 NOT a Grabber 200 I6 in basicly the same condition actually a little better I didn't have the dents, I paid $800.00 the 73 I bought w/o title, motor, or transmission (I got it for the 5 lug parts) Cost me $500.00. They are out there, the less initial cost the more you have available to put into it. $2,000.00 can get a right fair paint job.

I would say that car should bring more than $3000. It has some good eye appeal.

The pictures were taken with the car wet. $500 for unscrupulous tactics.

That was my Thoughts. If i really wanted it I might pay $3500, but most of that is merely because it's a grabber. If it weren't a grabber suddenly I'm down around $1500- 2000. But thats just me.

Nice color combo, don't see that one very much. The car looks to be in very nice shape except for the little rust. You wold spend alot of time and money just findaing all the PARTS (Grabber hood, bumpers, trim, spoiler, interior) in that nice of shape if you were building up a PROJECT car bought for $1000. So I'd figure start with your $1000 project car, add in $2000 worth of parts, add in a little more for the low mileage and ready to drive car. my opinion, its worth $4k to somebody who wants to swap out engine, trans, rear, wheels, fix rust and paint, and make a mild resto. Maybe worth $5k to somebody who wants a nice drivable survivor classic with some uniqueness. But I'm sure the seller thinks its worth $10k and probably paid $7k so none of our opinions matter because it wont sell anways.

I'd give 2K for it but I would be looking for a real deal and definitely would see it in person first. Just on what he shows it has too much rust for me and the vinyl roof can sure hold surprises.

What will be top dollar offered on epay? My guess is $3350 with the reserve not met.

I was thinkin the same sort of thing.LOL.

Its worth 3000. That rust is minor. Usual lower quarters.
I wouldnt pay 3000 myself though if I was planning on a V8 swap etc. I'd buy a different car.

My point is the condition of THAT car your going to need at least dent and rust repair paint and stripes minimum add that to the $3,500. most are willing to spend and you've got A LOT into what's still a daily driver.

No more than $3500----------bringing it up to nice standards on a real TIGHT budget of at least $3K leaves you with a $7500 car. Right at the limit of what that one would be worth.

I wud say the most I might be willing to consider is $3500 and that is only if I saw the car in person. I am skeptical abt old cars w/ vinyl roofs and nice paint jobs. I am weary abt what they maybe hiding. I agree w/ a lot of the others who say, keep lookin if ur going to do a complete resto/upgrade.
If you just want that car, then that's a different story.
