Yep, that's why some of em like this one (and I'll never understand why) break the $5000 mark every once in a while.

mine is a 71 comet ... no rust.. I mean NONE! 302 c4... I would think that would amount to more?? It sat in a garage for 20 years.. not one thing is unoriginal including factory ac!! still works

Us people up North, will pay more for a car that didn't even survive up here into the 80's

If it's decent, 3 grand all day. It's a nice complete car, with lots of paperwork.
    Everyone like green!!
This is always a loaded question on here, there is such a variance of owners.

My Sprint sat for 20 yrs before I purchased it...I have allmost 5K in it now with the trac lok and 3.80 gears...I paid much less than 3500 when I got it...Granted it allready had a non running 351 in it and a non functioning AOD along with the same rust as this grabber. It took ALOT of sorting out...I'm sure this grabber will need some sorting out as well...You dont just hop in a 39 yr old car thats been parked for a while (years) and drive off to the local cruise night. What its worth often pales in comparison to what it needs. Regardless of what its "value" may be. Its not worth more than 3500.00...

    IMO

Cost--- the Grabber package (at least earlier models) was mainly trim. Ford had their Mustang as their muscle car and there just wasn't enough room for two. That changed with the Mustang II "Ghia" in 74 but Ford just couldn't psychologically let go of the Mustang wave they rode since 65'.

I think you'll see more 302's on build sheets from 74 on.

It doesn't offend me, but it's not within the rules:

The topic of the thread, was about the value of the car, not weather or not they came with what...If you have a question, use the search, or start a new thread.

To quote one of my favorite comedy movies....Lighten up, Francis.:rofl2:

But also, and of course more importantly to stay "on topic", I jump my would be payment to $2200.

I would have to say....it was more "on topic" than most "off topic" threads I have seen. At least it was a question about Grabbers, which was what we were kinda talking about.

I don't even understand this question haha. The grabber was only a looks package not a performance upgrade. Most of these car's were made after the muscle car high ended.

I'd say $1000-1500, with my bank account. Nice colors. I would give this car more than a quick patch-n-dent, and respray, so I would want to start lower. My opinion.:)
