I have the Factory "flat " hood that came off of the Dark blue and primered car .
I bought it from the Man who prepared the cars for the movie. The hood is still blue and primered. In the movie the car has a fiberglass Crites restorations hood on it. If you look very closely at the picture you can see that the primer on the grabber hood is different from the rest of the car.

SPOILER ALERT: In this movie the Charger gets FLATTENED by the armored Truck(in the pictures) driven by Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" who plays a bounty Hunter.

The sky blue car belongs to a member here who lives in Ga. The Dark blue car was shipped to Atlanta from California. The dark blue one was fitted with a Moser 9" that was purchased with the disk brake set up when it was being modded for the movie.

Is hollywood trying to rid the earth of all `68-`70 chargers or what :hmmm: Do the mavericks make it through the movie without getting crunched ?

Bigger rear brakes were probably on purpose, would imagine stunt drivers can use it to their advantage to make the car slide around.

Sorry to bring back an older thread, but does anybody know what kind of wheels are on that darker blue Maverick? I really like them but I'm not sure what they are or who makes them?
