So you're looking for a "snorkel" style Grabber hood, with the 2 scoops???

On another note....are your maverick emblems on your deluxe door panes stock with that engraving??? ....or did you do that?? I don't think I've ever seen that style??? (I embedded a photo from your album below)

Anyone can chime in on this one:

There are two Mavericks with hoods at Bullock's Salvage in Creedmoor. One I believe is damaged from a front end collision but the other might be OK.

Wow, i wish i could get my hands on a set of those emblems for my interior, as i am going with a stamped paisley leather for the center section in the new buckets when we reupholster... very nice...

as for the hood... there are also several aftermarket hoods available,
http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/maverick.html has a nice fit... planning to get the bolt on for my mav.

There was a guy at a car show here in lou last year, had one from the om his comet, and it fet solid... he said that when he installed it, that the front driver's lip was a bit off, but with a heat gun, and some time, got it to pull out back where it should have been, until you looked UNDER it, you couldn't tell it was aftermarket until you were staring at the framing underneath (or lack thereof), said he had a buddy with one on his maverick that wasn't off in the slightest And seeing as how the maverick hoods are quite a bit more simple in manufacture, i figure it will fit rather well.

But you get what you pay for. If you have to spend several hours on a new one to make it fit, how much is it really worth? Time is money in my book.

Not Grabbers. Thought you wanted "cheap"? If they were Grabbers the one that's not banged up would be in my garage.
