Hi All, Hoping to find a fiberglass "thunderbolt" hood for my 64 Merc comet. Any help is appreciated.
fiberglass hood Thunderbolt Well, got my thunderbolt hood from Crites. Thanks to all who suggested I use them. The hood is fist class and fit with little adjustment and looks great! However I am having a hard time posting a new thread, can't seem to navigate around the site very easy. Can someone help me with the basics? Any tutorials on this site? Need help please Posting new threads,Posting pics of my car etc. Thanks Dennis
depending on the subject matter of the post will determine what forum you will need to click on first. if youre trying to post pics of the new hood you got and your car in general you may want to: A. just click on the POST REPLY button on either the top left corner just above the first post of this page or to the bottom left corner below the last post of this page just like youve already done to reply to this thread. B. scroll a bit further down, on the main page, to click on the COSMETIC forum if you want to just post about the hood. If its going to be more like a "build thread" to show where your car has come from, where its going, and the progress made in between, click on GENERAL MAVERICK/COMET title and then MAVERICK/COMET PROJECTS sub forum. Just like the POST REPLY button in this thread, you will see a NEW THREAD button at the top left and at the bottom left of the first and last threads to create a new topic. if you have already uploaded your pictures to an image hosting site(photobucket, tinypic, flicker, etc.) you should be able to copy the DIRECT LINK link and click on the 5th icon from the right directly above the text box you are typing in. looks like two mountains with a sun/moon(?). there you will paste the link you copied from the image hosting site and select OK. once all is done, click on SUBMIT REPLY and sah! new thread created. sorry if that was a bit much/more information than you really needed. im just used to doing this seeing as i work customer service trouble shooting and detailed how-to's are a common occurance. hope that helps out a bit, though. now get those pics up! haha
