Originaly, there was a fuel regulator on my fuel line. It would keep the pressure under 5 and was controllable. Since then there was an engine swap to a v8 (302) with a high pressure fuel pump. I do not have that installed right now and have noticed that it averages around 9-10. Is this to high, or do we need more fuel intake for hotrods?

It is a holley, either a 600 or 650 double pump. I was kinda thinking max gas flow but I dont want to "pop" anything.

i would get a reg on it. when you get into flow rates and pressures you will get all kinds of opinions. what i run and have for years is a stock style pump with an adjustable holley reg. not the dial kind, they really just slow the flow not regulate the pressure. set your reg at 6psi and drive it, the engine will tell you if it needs more.
