Hello every one... exited about this project with my son. We have purchased a 1974 mercury comet,I previously owned a 1965 mercury cyclone.Very rare car unfortunately I was young at the time I purchased this extraordinary muscle car and had a brand new family.long story short my wife gave me a choice the car or well you know! one month after selectively finding a buyer for the vehicle my father in law bought me a subscription to I believe it was car craft magazine, the cover page was none other than the nostalgic rod I had owned just one month before.I nearly cried. As it were I moved on with my life.driving hunk a junks for the most part although I was able to make a few more hot rod purchase's I never seemed to be able to complete any of them. After 18 years and three beuatifull children her and I went our seperate ways.Four years later I was able to file for custody of my yongest child my son.We have come a long way in the last year and a half. Here we are its his senior year and we have purchased this later model comet,so far we purchased a 390 as well as a C-6 trans as a start. this will be hopefully alot of great memories for him and I. P.S. photo's to follow!!! ernie1222.
