So the weather was decent yesterday (decent in south Texas means less than 95 degrees and less than 90% humidity).

So, I told the wife if we are going to the store, we are taking the Maverick, because, you know, we need to keep the battery charged ;)

Well, we drive past several mercedes and bmws, a couple of land rovers, and their alarms go off due to the obnoxious noise my car makes, and she starts to giggle. I think that is a good thing, right?

Well, we drive around a bit more, windows down, enjoying the "cool" weather (it is 88 degrees!) and I pull out onto the highway in first gear. She already has her antennae up. "Why are you downshifting?" So I nail it and get to about 40 mph in 1st gear, then hit second and up to 6500 rpms, get a nice chirp from the trailing two tires, and she is screaming, but smiling, and her fingernails are digging into the 40 year old foam arm rests.

So, is this a good thing or a bad thing. I can't figure it out.

Barely made it to 3rd gear and had to start braking to make my next turn.

She is still smiling, I think. It looks like a smile, but more teeth showing than I am used to.

So what is the deal? Did she like the ride or not?

I just cannot figure out womens' body language, for the life of me...

Come on, what are you thinking? :hmmm: You don't really expect anyone to answer this do you?? :slap: Understanding women has been a mystery since the beginning of time. It is kind of like that "Black Hole" in outer space. It is ok to let it peak your curiousity and maybe even snoop around the idea of what it might be all about but you know in the back, front and both sides of your mind, you DO NOT enter. Only e--vile lives there. :biglaugh::biglaugh::hide: Have a good one.:tiphat:

If you got a smile, but it looked a little off, it's probably because she was a little bit on edge, but the laugh and the smile makes it all good.

The secret to women is simple...Keep em smiling and everyones smiling...Whats the big deal??? But yeah...Dont ever try to figure em out...Your mind will implode!!!

As for the ride...If she didnt yell and tell you to "Stop it!" then it was a good time...Or... she wont get back in the car with you again but wasnt about to spoil your fun.

Wife here, he made me login as myself instead of writing under his name, heaven forbid :)

Us women are not that hard to figure out, guys, really! If I was laughing and smiling than all is good. I wasn't screaming, much ;0

    Take care, have fun,

Hey, we have a good time, most of the time.

Just the fact that she keeps getting into the car and knowing what it is capable of...that says a lot about her.

I think I will keep her, at least a little while longer...

When are you taking it back to the track? When are you going to use the nitrous kit you installed?
