LOL yeah I did actually but ONLY because my outside faucet is broken right now and the car was in desperate need so I ran it through the auto car was and then pulled it around to the manually operated one and finished up what the car was missed.

Gotta agree on the cowls and the fuse box. Cowls should have been galvanized then painted, and the fuse box should have been bigger and in a better, more accessible place....

The worst part in my opinion is the wiper motor.
I think it was the very first thing Ford installed on the assembly line at the factory. Its like some sort of sadist designed it to be as difficult as possible to replace.

Im getting mad just thinking about it.

Wiper motor replacment is a easy 30 minute job. No need to remove the wiper motor mount. The hardest part was putting the clip on the linkage.

At least you can see the fuse box on a Maverick. The fuse box on my Falcon is mounted behind the dash on the light switch.

i love that thing. i think every car should have one of those. it's not as high tech and expensive as the electric mirrors and it adjusts your mirror WAY faster than electric ones. that's one of those little thing i saw and though "that's fricken sweet"

i can agree. the things to clip the cover on were in bad condition on mine and i accidentally bumped the cover with my knee while getting in and they broke off. now i don't have a fuse box cover
