Same thing happened to Dennis and I. :(

They must have reduced the camping area--it's never been completely full.

Hopefully we will have better luck next year and get in!

Yes, we couldn't get in the campground, so we aren't going to make it this year. Now I've got a plane ticket to use for something else, unfortunately.

Not a very big turnout of Mavericks and Comets, The total number I counted on the grounds were 3 Mavericks and 1 Comet.......:(

I'm selling my Mavericks and buying Pintos. They had about 70 Pintos and had a heck of a party. The Pinto guys gave away a Ted Nugent autographed guitar. I can't think of another Ford car that had a worse turn out than the Mavericks and Comets.

Yes....very impressive into turnout. And they were nice cars as well. I don't ever want to read about how crappy Pinto's are, and that they are not collector cars, etc. They kicked butt this weekend. I top my hat to them.

If they had had more camping spaces this year, there would have been one more Maverick and a couple more people!;) Did they have less camping spaces? I've never seen it completely full.

I would like to have seen the Pintos, too.

My hat is also off to the Pinto Stampede that showed up. I was in the boat of not having a camp site to crash at also. It was my own fault next year Ill make sure I get an advanced spot.... The show in general was larger then I can remember as far as total car count. Camp sites looked to be very limited. On a side note I ran into the original builder/painter of my Comet. We had a talk about fixing some minor flaws the body has accrued in its 16 years. Hard to believe he was only 17 when he painted it....

I thought the car count wad down in my opinion, at least in the old cars. Lots and lots of late model Mustangs, but Galaxies, Fairlanes, Torino's etc. were down I thought.

There was a big area at the back where they normally have campers that was all roped off and nothing was back there. Not sure what was going on back there. Maybe something happened there in that area on Sunday???

Vendor numbers were way down. Lots of empty spaces. Vendors started backing up Saturday at noon...way before the rain.
