alright so theres no spark going to the coil and my dad did this test where he connected a wire from the battery to the coil and still nothing happened so what could possibly be wrong? were lost
Sparks doesn't go to the coil...it comes from the coil. Anyway sounds like bad points or condenser. Could be a bad coil or something grounding out or not getting a good ground. I take it that the engine spins when you turn the key?
we bought a new coil cause thats what we thought it was but it turns out it wasnt, and yes engine spins
