front and rear lincoln town car disc brakes on a 71 4 door maverick

    :huh: I just have bought front and rear disc brakes from a 1993 lincoln town car from a junk yard but when get home I realize I din't even know if it is possible to swap them to a 71 4 door maverick. Can anyone tell me if it is possible or I just throw my money? fornt brakes come with rotors calipers and spindle, rear come with differential, I also got booster, master cylinder, convination. they look in pretty good shape. thanks

    69 1/2, 70 Maverick and 71 Grabber
    If the rear brakes are like the Crown Vic they can be modified to work. My guess is no way on the front brakes.

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    Anything is possible, for the front you can make a custom bracket to hold on the caliper. ...but of course that depends on whether the rotors are compatible with the spindles.

    Like mentioned above the rear are similar to crown vic so use this:
