Ok so I have an MSD 5520 ignition box, MSD Blaster 2 coil and a Pro Comp DIST. I have everything hooked up properly just as the directions say and I get no spark to the plugs. I've tried testing the orange and black wire that connects to the coil and theres no voltage on it what so ever. So I dont know if the issue is with the box or the coil or the DIST. Its connected with the magnetic pickup. Also ive noticed if I unplug the magentic pickup that connects to the dist the red light comes on and stays on if i plug the dist in it goes off. I dont know if maybe the connection on the dist is reversed meaning +-, -+. Kinda lost here any help would be awesome as always. Thanks!

do you have power in the wire from the switch to the coil?

Are you reffering to the ignition wire? When the key is in the on position? If so yes it has a steady 12.6 volts coming off it.
