On the bellhousing of the T5 what type of boot/dust shield is used to cover the clutch fork hole? I need a cover for mine because it was missing when i bought my trans.
the stock cover is a stamped aluminum box that is retained under the grooves in the front of the opening and a 3/8" headed sheet metal screw in the back. Most that I've seen don't use the cover and if you did you would need to cut it out significantly. I would install your slave, fork, etc and make a custom one out of aluminum sheet metal if you prefer. I haven't had a cover since I did my conversion, it's a cable system so I can't measure for you.
