DSO help?

    I was told that my car was a city car Or government I guess you would call it but my DSO is 87 which is body company according to this.what do they mean by body company? what would it have been use for?

    75 - Pheonix
    76 - Denver
    83 - Government
    84 - Home Office Reserve
    85 - American Red Cross
    87 - Body Company
    89 - Transporation Services
    90-99 - Export
    57 - Houston
    58 - Twin City

    I've also seen where Ford lists the District Sales Office (DSO) Code of 87 as:

    "Ford Body Engineering"

    Hmmm...this is interesting. I wonder if your Maverick was used by Ford for engineering and testing.

    They suppose to destroy all test vehicles...it's company policy.

    the vin is 2k91f148540 if that helps any been told it was a city car by a few people.

    If your car is a Canadian car (sold new in Canada) it'll have a "B" in the DSO.
    B7 is Pacific Canada Ordering District.

    I will have to check when my car gets home. Mom drives it! could be I just looked at it to fast and cause its faded a lot. thanks for the help tho.
