I've looked up how to remove the wiper arms but I still can't get mine to come off. I've used a screw driver on the tab under neath them and it didn't work. does anyone have any tips on removing them?

Two handed operation, use the screwdriver for tab, put down a rag to protect paint, and use a trim removal tool to gently pry the arm up. Sometimes tales a little effort, depending on if they have been removed.

There is no "tab" to pry up on for removal. All you have to do is pry on the rear part of the wiper. They make a special tool for this....or you can use a screwdriver.

I use a small pair of " Channel lock " pliers. Put a rag or piece of cardboard on the wiper arm and with the front jaw under the rear lip of the arm and the rear jaw on the middle of the wiper arm ( as close to where the center of the stud is ) gently rock the arm back and forth while pulling gently up on it. They always come right off, undamaged, for me! This works great for junkyard ones that are really stuck on, too!:)

Saw that you got the wiper arm off. For future reference on anyone who searches on removing wiper arms I've posted a link to another thread that shows what's going on under there. Some of us might call the retainer a "tab" but that's semantics. Regardless, you'll better your chances of removing the arm if that "doodad" is disengaged when you start your pryinig.
